Making
a Difference Award
We’re
looking for Credit Union members between the ages of 13 and 17 who are making a
commitment to their community through volunteer work and community service.
Teens can nominate themselves or nominations can be made by a parent, teacher or
friend. •

will receive an 18-month CertifiKID* in the following amount:

addition, the winning teens will receive $100 to donate to the charity of their
choice. Winners will be announced at Capital Communications Federal Credit
Union’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at The Century House in

Art Goedeke Memorial Scholarship
Does
your future hold a career in Computer Science/Information Technology? If
you are a member through the age of 25 and are at least a graduating senior who
plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Information
Technology, apply for the 2008 Art Goedeke Memorial Scholarship.* The late Art
Goedeke, a longtime Credit Union member, had a passion for computer
science/information technology and his family has set up this $2,000 scholarship
to help a student with that same career interest. To apply, answer the question
below with an essay of no more than 500 words and send it with: •

$2,500 Weidner “Ed” Davis Scholarships
Starting
in March of ’09 – Capital Communications Cares Foundation will release the
2009 Weidner “Ed” Davis Scholarship question. The Foundation will be
awarding ten $2,500 scholarships to Credit Union members. This scholarship is
open to members through age 25 who are at least a graduating high school senior
and who are studying for an undergraduate degree. To
apply, students need to answer the essay question in no more than 500 words
given in March and send it into the credit union along with: ·
